What's on?

The Sinden Theatre is a 231 seated venue located within the grounds of Homewood School in the heart of the Weald.
Opened in 2004, the venue is named after its patron, actor and former local resident, the late Sir Donald Sinden CBE.

As well as hosting regular school productions The Sinden provides a wide diversity of entertainment for the area, from standup comedy to drama and music. Artistes who have appeared here include Steven Berkoff, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Bowjangles, the Reduced Shakespeare Company, The Fureys & Davey Arthur, Sunny Ormonde and of course Sir Donald Sinden.

We presents a wide variety of shows distributed throughout the year mingled between the vast array of private bookings for local Stage schools, Dance academies and Drama groups.

    The difficult decision has been made to postpone Homewood's Annual Dance Performance. We fully intend to put the show back on next year, but for now all purchased tickets will be refunded in full.

    Homewood Dance Department are so pleased to be able to welcome you back in person to The Sinden Theatre to share our wonderful students work in the Annual Dance Performance.

    The Academy Performing Arts proudly Presents Musical Mayhem.

    The students will perform for you, dances, songs and drama from some of the best loved musicals, past and present. Songs that have you tapping your feet, drama that will delight, and dances you will want to join in with. Come and join us as we return to The Sinden Theatre Tenterden for an evening of Musical Mayhem!

    A shopkeeper helps a man select a gift for a dying friend, only for them both to discover something new about the world, about love and companionship. A hard-bitten private investigator seeks to expose a miscarriage of justice, but the truth lies in the mind of a troubled old flame of his with multiple personalities.
