What's on?


The Sinden Theatre is a 290 seated venue located within the grounds of Homewood School in the heart of the Weald.
Opened in 2004, the venue is named after its patron, actor and former local resident, the late Sir Donald Sinden CBE.

As well as hosting regular school productions The Sinden provides a wide diversity of entertainment for the area, from standup comedy to drama and music. Artistes who have appeared here include Steven Berkoff, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Bowjangles, the Reduced Shakespeare Company, The Fureys & Davey Arthur, Sunny Ormonde and of course Sir Donald Sinden.

We presents a wide variety of shows distributed throughout the year mingled between the vast array of private bookings for local Stage schools, Dance academies and Drama groups.

    That’s Entertainment Productions in association with The Sinden Theatre return for their 5th consecutive year when Aladdin arrives on his flying carpet this Christmas! The most magical pantomime of them all will feature even more dazzling costumes, brilliant scenery, amazing illusions, great laughs and fantastic music. Running daily from December 17th-28th with a professional cast to be announced, don’t miss this season’s most exciting family adventure!

    The Velvet Country voice of Patsy Cline caught the imagination of Sue Lowry, who has been a lifelong fan of Patsy Cline and Country Music.
    Patsy Cline was a record-breaking artist spending 251 weeks in the Country Music Album Charts in the U.S.A. A down to earth ‘Gal’ who could look good in Weston Wear or any evening dress, as she performed all the Country Ballard’s.
    With all the wonderful recordings she left behind this will be an evening to celebrate the power of her music!
